The Cosmos Factory is both a project factory and a production house. We provide complete films which range from conception of an idea to the screenplay to the finished master tape. This factory of ideas has already produced over 250 films for broadcasters all over the world, including Austria’s ORF, Germany’s NDR, WDR and Bayrischer Rundfunk, the Franco-German channel ARTE, Canal Plus and the Discovery Channel. The Cosmos Factory’s emphasis is on documentary films about art, science, nature subjects and modern history. Promotional films produced by the Cosmos Factory include those for the mobile phone company Drei, Vienna’s House of the Sea aquarium, and the Big Cat House at the Schönbrunn Zoo. Our production department offers our customers the complete development of film projects, including access to cameras, cutting rooms, sound studios. It also produces films and videoclips for the Internet and cell phones. Our office complex includes a branch of the well-known sound studio Der Werbeton as well as Baumhouse Music Productions, the studio of the prominent musician and producer Andy Baum. For the ORF we produce, among others, the daily youth program “25”. The mobile telephone company Drei is a customer to whom we have provided for the past two years round-the-clock news as well as sports coverage of World Cup Skiing and Champions League football. |
