The premiere of “The Red Sea – Magic Garden of Evolution” took place on November 11, 2025, in the ORF series “Universum” on Austrian television. 490,000 viewers watched live (not including streaming viewers).
The German version is narrated by Ulrich Noethen, who has excelled as an actor in films such as “Comedian Harmonists”, “Downfall” and “The Diary of Anne Frank”.
The international version is narrated by the Vienna-based English actor Howard Nightingall.
National Geographic Global Networks will broadcast the documentary worldwide via satellite in early 2026.
