Cosmos Factory was founded on October 1, 1993 and is run by experienced science journalists who have been working for print media, radio and television since 1979 - from 1984 to 1993 in the science news department of ORF television. Prime-time documentaries from 1988. Main topics: nature, science, contemporary history.
Films
Most of our documentaries were produced for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation’s “Universum” series and for the Vienna-based “Terra Mater Studios” – mostly in co-production and collaboration with television stations and distribution companies around the world, from National Geographic Channels to France Télévisions and Slovenská televízia.

Since 1997, the documentaries, reports and clips of our production teams have been rewarded with 69 awards for their standard, quality and inventiveness in 18 countries on three continents. In addition, there are dozens of nominations as finalists.
