A special edition of the ORF series “Universum” about animals whose aquatic habitats have changed for the worse due to global warming, environmental pollution and structural interventions.
The first ten minutes of the 100-minute program are an extract from Harald Pokieser’s 2023 documentary “Mission Saving Paradise“, which reports on a research expedition in the Indian Ocean.
“Universum Spezial” focuses on the study of plankton and the exploration of the health of the corals around Aldabra, the largest atoll in the Indian Ocean.
